In the last 23 years, the SIAM card has become a highly recognized program in the LW area. When a business becomes a member, they immediately benefit from this recognition. Cardholders in growing numbers are reaching for their SIAM card first, even before the telephone directory, to see if a service or item they may need is listed. Advertising – Advertising – Advertising! Member businesses benefit from a considerable amount of advanced publicity put out by the Music Boosters in local papers, cable television, the LW High School Websites, field show programs and the SIAMCARD.ORG website.
Most importantly, our bands, music students and boosters – over 600 strong – go door-to-door in the LW area over two days to sell over 7,000 SIAM cards prior to the card’s effective date of October 1st. If no one is home, our students leave a door hander that lists each member business and information at how to obtain the SIAM card.
We sell an additional 2,000 cards through sales popular businesses that help in getting the SIAM value out.
You will be supporting some of the very best music programs in Illinois. Fundraising programs such as the SIAM card have helped build the LW High School music program to its current level of respect and excellence. Your participation will help ensure that these high standards continue to grow and are available to music students well into the future.
Get On The SIAM Card
To become a member business, we ask that you:
♫ Offer a repeatable discount or give-away, good for the one-year period of the card, which will be valid each time a patron uses his/her SIAM card at the business.
♫ Make a $25 donation to help defray the cost of assembling the SIAM card and other advertising items.
♫ Require that patrons stating they are a SIAM card holder, show their card in order to receive the SIAM discount.
For your donation, you will receive:
♪ 1 free SIAM card for personal use
♪ A SIAM window decal
♪ A placard for your window that identifies you as a SIAM member business and allows you to list the SIAM discount.
♪ Your business name and ad in more than 9,000 area homes through purchase of the SIAM card, 20,000 additional homes through the door hanger, and SIAMCARD.ORG.
Additional value will be added through our website as it matures.
